Setting Up Your TE-5000

TE-5000

Your TE-5000 is an industry-first solution, empowering you to sterilize and manage your own waste without having to rely on pickups and haulers. This revolutionary technology is easy to set up and integrate into your practice.

Before getting started, it’s important to find a space for your TE-5000 that makes sense for you and your team. Work with your team to find a place that is easily accessible but also won’t interrupt or interfere with current workflows. Any countertop that has a nearby outlet, a strong cell signal, and can support 50lbs will do. To fit into your current workflow, we recommend keeping your TE-5000 in the same place you are storing your medical waste today.

The TE-5000 uses the Verizon cell network to communicate. Generally, if you get cell service on your phone, your TE-5000 should be able to communicate properly. If you do run into communication issues, there is an ethernet port on the side of your TE-5000 that can be used.

Once your TE-5000 is in its place, plugged in, and connected to the internet, we recommend running an empty cycle to monitor connectivity and ensure the machine is running properly. Once the cycle is complete, you are ready to begin treating waste.
